Cop overreacted again. They are going to have to learn to use better judgement. The camera phones are challenging their power.

Actually the woman didn't have to show him the id and the ACLU has taken up the case. The law in California is different than in other states. Don't assume. The cop has to talk to her lawyer unfortunately. He can't violently take down a pregnant woman. He needs to find another way.

But she actually isn't required to show her ID or give her name, and they practically attacked her for protecting her rights over nothing. Why would she think a cop would force her onto the ground when there was no immediate danger?

Bye, that how slaves act. She did nothing wrong, there was no crime committed as admitted by the officer, so why couldn't she have walked away peacefully like she did? It was well within her rights to not provide her ID because she did NOTHING. So why the excessive force? Because she had an attitude? When did that become illegal? She wasn't acting violent or threatening. She was on her phone and started to walk away.

TBH, if the police were wasting my time over a non-crime I would continue about my business as well. IT'S NOT ILLEGAL.

The police officer used too much force, but the black lady had a terrible attitude... Small things like that could have influenced how he responded. Also, why'd she have to bring up race? I bet that didn't help her case, either. It would've been best to just refuse to give her name respectfully, but she didn't even have the time before the officer pounced on her.
