Rihanna & Drake's 'Work' Leads Hot 100 for Second Week
Quote:
Work," released on Westbury Road/Roc Nation, holds atop the Hot 100 boosted by an 80 percent blast to 46.5 million U.S. streams in the tracking week ending Feb. 25, according to Nielsen Music, following the arrival of its official music video Feb. 22. Notably, the song sports 13.9 million Vevo on YouTube clicks for the week, up from 575,000 the prior frame. "Work" leads the Streaming Songs chart for a second week and tops the subscription services-based On-Demand Songs chart (18.1 million streams, up 19 percent) for a third frame. It rules Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart for a fourth (nonconsecutive) week.
Impressively, only two titles have scored a higher weekly streaming sum than the 46.5 million tallied by "Work," dating to the Streaming Songs tally's 2013 inception. Baauer's "Harlem Shake" peaked with 103 million domestic streams (driven primarily by user-generation videos including the track's audio), reflected on the March 2, 2013 ranking, and logged four total weeks of more than 46.5 million streams. Adele's "Hello" peaked with 61.6 million streams (Nov. 14, 2015) and posted a second week of more than 46.5 million. (Note that while the official "Work" video includes two plays of the song, each click counts as one stream for chart tabulation purposes.)
"Work" rebounds 2-1 for a second week atop the Digital Songs chart (169,000 downloads sold, up 42 percent) and bounds 10-5 on Radio Songs (90 million in airplay audience, up 18 percent). The song claims all three of the Hot 100's top Gainer awards, for streaming, digital sales and airplay, becoming the first title to triple up with the nods since Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" (featuring Kendrick Lamar) on the June 6, 2015, chart, when it rocketed 53-1 after the arrival of its official clip (premiered at the kick-off of the 2015 Billboard Music Awards).
Justin Bieber's "Love Yourself" holds at No. 2 after leading for two (nonconsecutive) weeks. Twenty One Pilots' "Stressed Out" is stationary to No. 3 on the Hot 100 after rising to No. 2. The Hot 100's entire top six songs, in fact, are steady, with Bieber's former three-week No. 1 "Sorry" remaining at No. 4; Flo Rida's "My House" holding at its No. 5 high (after two weeks atop Digital Songs, "House" descends to No. 2, down 13 percent to 117,000); and, Zayn's "Pillowtalk" stays in place at No. 6 after debuting at No. 1 three weeks ago (and zips 36-24 on Radio Songs, up by 22 percent to 46 million). G-Eazy and Bebe Rexha's "Me, Myself & I" hits a new Hot 100 peak, pushing 8-7. DNCE's debut hit "Cake by the Ocean" sweetens the top 10 for a second week, rising to a new high (10-9). Rounding out the Hot 100's top 10, The Chainsmokers "Roses," featuring Rozes, falls 9-10 after reaching No. 6.

Adele's '25' Scores 10th Week at No. 1 on Billboard 200 Chart
Quote:
Adele’s 25 rules the Billboard 200 albums chart for a tenth nonconsecutive week, as it earned another 100,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Feb. 25, according to Nielsen Music. That sum was down 34 percent compared to the previous week. In terms of pure album sales, it sold 81,000 (down 35 percent).
25 is just the fifth album released since 2000 to achieve 10 weeks at No. 1. It follows Taylor Swift’s 1989 (released in 2014, 11 weeks at No. 1), the Frozen soundtrack (2013, 13 weeks), Adele’s 21 (2011, 24 weeks) and Swift’s Fearless (2008, 11 weeks).
Rihanna's former No.1, Anti, climbs 3-2 with 80,000 units (up 1 percent) while Justin Bieber’s Purpose dips 2-3 with 63,000 units (down 25 percent).
Rapper Yo Gotti lands his highest charting album ever as The Art of the Hustle starts at No. 4 with 61,000 units (45,000 in pure album sales). It’s his second top 10 effort, following his last release, 2013’s I Am, which debuted and peaked at No. 7 (starting with 47,000 in sales).
Chris Stapleton, of the show’s performers and a two-time winner, holds steady at No. 5 with Traveller (52,000 units; down 14 percent) while another double-winner and performer, The Weeknd, holds at No. 6 with Beauty Behind the Madness (41,000 units; down 20 percent). Blurryface is stationary at No. 7 with 39,000 units (down 14 percent), Joey + Rory’s Hymns falls 4-8 with 37,000 units (down 46 percent) and Kevin Gates’ Islah rises 11-9 with 32,000 units (down 12 percent). Bryson Tiller’s Trapsoul rounds out the top 10 as it ascends 13-10 with 31,000.
