I'm sincerely asking this question because I want to know your stance on this matter.

Are you an atheist, agnostic, or firm believer? If so why? Any personal experiences or specific reasons?

Please for once can ATRL have a real discussion. I don't want any shade being thrown and I don't want anyone criticizing any other person's beliefs or making it seem like they don't matter.

I for one am a firm believer in God, but sometimes I feel very alone and it's hard for me to personalize with him.

Yes I agree. Religion gives God a bad name on too many occasions. I really hate how some people spread such wrong misconceptions and make everyone think all religious people are crazy fanatics. That's not true.

I was brought up in a religious household and my brother kind of let the family know that he doesn't wanna practice it anymore. It hurt a little, but I understand. Everyone has to make their own decisions and live their lives. Religion was never forced on us.
