What is with UK acts waiting so long for iTunes releases......
In the UK it usually takes longer for a song to recieve air play so record labels usually give singles to radios 1.5 months before there release because they will likley be playing it a lot when the song comes out. Hope that makes sense!

the UK release system is different to the US. in the US a single is released, then it's promoted and the track climbs the chart. in the UK the track is promoted and released to radio first, after which it's released and they debut high (in theory) on the chart.
they better rush its release now so that he can get atleast 1 #1 this era!
Well, I wouldn't call "Say Nothing" a flop since it will be #3 this week, that's pretty good (the "Kickstarts" peak ) but I know what you mean, Example could get that # 1 easily, just needed a better first single
I think Say Nothing did quite well, considering there has been less hype I think. Not many people knew it was out, but I think it'll remain in the top 10 for another few weeks.
My next single 'Close Enemies' will premiere this Wednesday evening on Radio 1. It's a much darker beast than 'Say Nothing'. Lyrics video will be on youtube straight after it's played
