The thing is that now everyone is expecting a surprise release, and that changes everything.
She should've just dropped the album right after the Superbowl, she would've opened with 500k easily and destroyed Rihanna at that specific time(I say this as a stan) her presence was insane.
Formation released on urban and a pop single at the same time also would've done well.
IDK I think that her and her team just missed a huge huge opportunity in February.
