Before I start, I love Britney. This thread is no way was made in order to hate on her.
Everything in life comes into an end. Whether its too soon, or too late. Oprah has decided to quit her very successful show at the climax because she wanted to leave with a grace, to be remembered forever, and not to quit when she hits an all time low, she wanted people to remember her at her best.
Britney clearly didn't have an easy life. She went through different obstacles in her life, and I'm happy to see that she's on her feet again, dancing, and able to live a normal life with her kids.
And that's why I want her to retire.
Britney isn't the same Britney, no matter how hard her fans will try to prove it. She used to be the best female entertainer of our generation, into what she is now, a shadow of herself. Ofcourse she's not totally bad, but compared to what she was...
"Femme Fatale" era is all wrong. She's losing lots of fans and respect with this era, and also her performing skills have been criticized a lot. I think that "Circus" should have been her last era, or at least this era should have been entitled something like; "Celebrating Britney", with songs and videos that seal her long-lasted career, with a huge worldwide tour. Then every now and then she would release a single, just for fans, and so.
It would be really hard to see her retire, but I think that's the best for her. She's kinda embarrassing herself now, and she should have done what Oprah did - quitting when your at the top of the world.
Since she decided to perform post-Blackout, the damage has already been done. I say keep going, nothing more to lose now. I think she should take more risks, though. It doesn't have to be dance music. If you make dance music, you're more expected to dance.
Nope, she is still bringing in the millions. Her singles this are doing very well. Sold out tour. The public still wants her.
Then in that case beyonce should retire because her singles are flopping. Gaga also since judas floors and edge of glory did meh. As for the album it falling harder every week. Katy and Rihanna also after slow sailing albums.
If she does indeed decide to retire, she should wrap up this era, and then release a final album for the fans, with really good singles, tour, music videos, etc. It would be messy to end it now, so abruptly.
Nope, when she want's to yes. And for the hater's she ain't going no where. She's always been criticized. But this era not that much, or as bad as it use to. And her performing is way better then the last two eras. She's dancing fine and singing so she will be good. There's much worse performers out there.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying, she should go out with a blast, like a legend. Make people remember who Britney Spears is.
