The five-song set, "TRXYE," is due out worldwide on Aug. 15 and a limited edition CD is available to pre-order through his official site. (A digital pre-order is tentatively set to launch in late July.) The EP's tracklist has yet to be finalized.
"TRXYE" is led by its first single, "Happy Little Pill," which will see its video arrive in late July as well.

Yeah, exactly - it's annoying when people that have fan bases will basically buy shxt over decent music.
My point is whether it's good or bad (and I actually like that snippet) is that he probably could have done it without youtube, as he's basically got a fan base that'll buy anything.
I just find it kinda cheap, as where working your way up as a musician and not going at it via. another medium where you basically have people that will get you sales regardless of the quality.
Unfortunately, he's releasing it at a time when many of the youtubers & viners, who lack talent, are also releasing so he's just going to be grouped with the rest of them.
