FAVORITE NON-SINGLE TRACKS:
- HIGH SCHOOL
- I'M LEGIT
- THE BOYS
- CHAMPION (FEAT. DRAKE, NAS & YOUNG JEEZY)
- WHIP IT
THE RE-UP's ADDED SONGS DEFINITELY MAKE THE WHOLE ALBUM MORE ENJOYABLE. HER FLOW ON BASICALLY ALL OF "THE RE-UP" (EP) IS SICK, KILLING IT WITH NEARLY EVERY VERSE. I WISH I COULD SAY THE SAME FOR THE RAP SIDE OF THE ORIGINAL CD, BUT WITH LINES LIKE "DICK IN YO FACE" AND "THIS **** IS SO COLD, IT SHOULD COME ON A CONE" I JUST... I REALLY CAN'T. THE RAP TRACKS THAT ARE NOT ON "THE RE-UP" AREN'T WORTH LISTENING TO BESIDES "CHAMPION" AND "BEEZ IN THE TRAP." ON THE OTHER HAND, THE POP SIDE IS ACTUALLY ENJOYABLE WITH FUN, BREAKDOWNS IN "WHIP IT," "STARSHIPS," "POUND THE ALARM," AND "AUTOMATIC." "THE RE-UP" IS ENJOYABLE IF YOU'RE NOT LOOKING FOR ANYTHING TOO SERIOUS; DEFINITION OF EAR CANDY. |

FAVORITE NON-SINGLE TRACKS:
- YOUNG GIRLS
- TREASURE
- WHEN I WAS YOUR MAN
- NATALIE
- MONEY MAKE HER SMILE
BRUNO MARS 2ND EFFORT PROVES TO BE NO SOPHOMORE SLUMP. HIS VOCAL TALENT AND STYLE SHINE ON EVERY TRACK OF THE ALBUM AND EACH ONE IS ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. "UNORTHODOX JUKEBOX" CAPTURES BRUNO MARS' IMAGE TO A T. CLASSY, RETRO, PLAYFUL, SEXY AND SERIOUS ALL IN ONE PACKAGE. HE DEFINITELY CAUGHT MY ATTENTION WITH "LOCKED OUT OF HEAVEN" AND TURNED ME INTO A FAN WITH HIS VARIOUS PERFORMANCES OF THE SONG, ALONG WITH THIS ALBUM. EVEN IF YOU'RE NOT A BRUNO MARS FAN, THIS ALBUM IS DEFINITELY WORTH A SPIN, OR AT LEAST LOOK UP SOME OF HIS "LOCKED OUT OF HEAVEN" PERFORMANCES. HE REMINDS ME OF, DARE I SAY, A YOUNG MICHAEL JACKON. YES, I SAID IT. |
