ok let's say you're at work, normal day, the dudes are talking about their thirst for the V (The only thing they know how to talk about) & then suddenly the conversation gets all homophobic
"oh i hear _ is gay"
-
"lmao he's gay??? wtf i thought he was just feminine"
-
"no he's queer"
--
"that guy looks like a f****t"
--
"take that off u look like a f*g"
you get the picture. Just homophobic comments with you standing right there since they have no clue you're gay.
how do you react? it has happened a couple times to me already and its just awkward in every aspect
i drag them to the pits and get all of my friends to drop them. its actually happened before and she is hated by my entire friend group of like 15 people now
Like when it comes to me, I just stand there and nod like an idiot. I get so angry at myself tho that I don't stand up against the s**t they're talking.
You just shade what they generally talk about and they'll start thinking why does he do that but deeps of their mind will associate it with their bad mouthing of gays. Timing is crucial with this. You can't be shading no bitch 30 minutes after they trash talked the gheys.
I don't usually argue with other people's opinions unless it's something that REALLY strikes a nerve, to the point of actual rage... which would be something like this, but I'm not out yet so I can't really do that.
You should've seen what I did to this sophomore who tried to drag Gone Girl.

It depends. Sometimes when people say "that's so gay!" I reply "what does that mean?" If people directly ask me about someone else being gay or about someone being in a gay relationship I just shrug it and say "yeah, so what....? is it a crime to be gay?"
I try not to be very SJW about it, unless I am directly addressed for an opinion.
