#80 - #75 (Songs)
80. Jennifer Lopez - "Hypnotico" - This was a jam on my iPod during the springtime. This Lady Gaga co-written song has the average pop verses, but the infectious chorus is what makes the song addicting.
79. Dev - "Killer" - This was the first Dev song that I fell in love with. I am really enjoying this midtempos that focus on killers and criminals and such. At first, I was writing Dev off as a talentless, Ke$ha wannabe, but this song proved to me that she has the pipes.
78. Skrillex (featuring Penny) - "All I Ask of You" - Skrillex is one of the new artists that I have discovered earlier this year in January. I love jamming to his hard hitting dubstep songs, but this one is quite different from his other work. It takes a smooth and calm route, which is nice to hear that Skrillex has some variety in the electronica field.
77. Jennifer Lopez (featuring Pitbull) - "On The Floor" - This song is clearly a "Stereo Love" ripoff. That's not a bad thing though. "Stereo Love" was one of my top ten favorite songs of last year. While "On The Floor" does not top "Stereo Love", JLO definitely offered a strong comeback single. This song deserved the massive success it got.
76. Robyn - "Dancehall Queen" - Since this is the first Robyn material to appear on my list, I might as well explain now. By the time I had discovered Robyn, it was a few days after Christmas last year, and my best of list was already finished. So I knew this year, I had to make sure she was definitely present on this list. "Dancehall Queen" joins the many masterpieces Body Talk. I love the light dubstep and reggae influences. Aside from the instrumental, I just love listening to Robyn sing this.
75. Kelly Clarkson - "Einstein" - This is probably the cheesiest song that Kelly Clarkson has ever recorded. Yes, the lyrics are cringe-worthy, but this song is irresistibly addicting to me. While it doesn't hold a candle to the other wonderful songs on Stronger, it's still an enjoyable, simple song to listen to.
