It's that time of the year again.
A compilation of the 100 greatest tracks released between
December 2nd, 2012 - December 1st, 2013. The third annual countdown by Johnny, and my second year counting down on ATRL. Keep your weaves on, because you're about to hear and experience some of the greatest sounds to grace the world this year.
This countdown is scheduled to begin on
December 22nd, 2013. During this time I will present, in no particular order, some of my picks of the greatest albums released this year and some commentary on the side. I will present the first 90 songs in groups of 10, each day. I will then count down the top 10 individually. (
Edit: I will present my top 10 albums, in no particular order, throughout the countdown)
Two eligibility remarks with regard to this chart:
- The track must have been released as a single, included as a track on an album, or reached a new peak on the Billboard Hot 100 within the posted eligibility period for inclusion in this year's chart.
- Except in special circumstances in which the artist has demonstrated prowess far exceeding their peers, a maximum of two songs per artist is permitted on the chart.
I'm looking forward to sharing my chart with you this year and reading some of yours in return! I hope you enjoy some of the songs I will present, and perhaps discover a new song that you love from reading it!
