It's that time again! As college basketball fever sweeps across the nation, we here at ATRL turn to what we do best:
pitting celebrities against one another. We've already crowned the
best Record of the Year winner, the
greatest #1 hit of all time and
Hollywood's hottest hottie. This year, we'll be showing love to a group of songs that don't always get the respect they deserve: one-hit wonders.
Which flash in the pan does ATRL consider the greatest of them all?
Throughout the tournament, everyone will have a chance to participate by voting for their favorite songs in one-on-one match-ups, whittling down the field of 64 fleeting success stories until we reach our champion. But I need your help before we can begin!
Please nominate your list of the ten best one-hit wonders (no ranking necessary) in the thread below. These ballots will be used to determine the final list of competitors and help decide their tournament seeds.

an artist that has reached the top 40 of the Hot 100 just once. You can find more information and lists of every one-hit wonder by decade
here. (Vh1 also did a
big countdown about a decade ago.) From "Rapper's Delight" to "Macarena," music history is littered with them, so think outside the box; this thread is always more fun with creative choices that bring an unexpected dimension to the competition. Now get nominating, because the
tournament begins later this week, and you don't want your picks to get left out of the draw!
