Celeb News: Adele Did Not Get Super Bowl Halftime Show Offer

So, Pepsi & the NFL just denied the rumors, maybe Adele got it wrong from her management & she thought it was a sure thing.

On Sunday (Aug. 14), the NFL and Pepsi released the following joint statement:

"The NFL and Pepsi are big fans of Adele. We have had conversations with several artists about the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. However, we have not at this point extended a formal offer to Adele or anyone else. We are focused on putting together a fantastic show for Houston and we look forward to revealing that in good time."

The fact that they needed to put out a statement instead of just ignore it and the fact that they're only denying the "FORMAL offer" proves (to me) that Adele was pretty much telling the truth and they're saving face
