Adele has become the first ever artist to go double platinum on US iTunes.
The Someone Like You singer has managed to shift over two million downloads of her hit album 21, taking her Stateside sales total to over seven million.
Her album is now the longest-running No.1 LP by a woman on the Billboard Top 200 Chart, after scoring 21 consecutive weeks at the top.
The record was previously held by the late great Whitney Houston, whose 1992 soundtrack for movie The Bodyguard held on to No.1 for 20 weeks.

I just hope none of these accolades go to her head so that she stays humble about them.
