Can't believe Mimi didn't have a radio #1 between One Sweet Day and We Belong Together, the two most successful songs in the history of the Hot 100. Like seriously.
And people have the NERVE to say she only got her #1s thanks to radio, when Rih and Katy's radio #1s align more with their Hot 100 #1s than Mimi.
3 #1s from TEOM though, slay

So basically the higher they are ranked the more they get shoven down our throats, making it less impressive for them to have a big hit. Nothing to be proud of

Yes all her #1's from Butterfly & Rainbow are thanks to high physical sales, but i remember Honey went #1 on Rhythmic & Heartbreaker went #1 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs

Xtina. Clearly she's the biggest airplay artist that started in the late 90s!

High physical sales due to 99 cent and 49 cent discounted singles. From "Honey" on to "Loverboy", there was a lot of chart manipulation. No shade. I love mariah.

Rihanna & Christina.
I thought Britney had like 5 or something, I must be mistaken.

I believe she only had one airplay #1 in this time frame: "Take A Bow" (9 weeks).
"Music" and "Frozen" did not hit #1 and Ray of Light did very poorly on airplay (#26).

Britney's got ZERO. The only song radio ever really used by Brit's Scream, & Shout, and even that failed to go #1.
