1989 because Taylor wrote is mostly by herself. Beyonce used 5-7 writers per song, it doesn't feel like it's her album. More a factory

+ 1989 is far better.

I think BEYONCÉ just a little more and you can't beat the videos. BEYONCÉ has much lower lows than 1989 though.

Love both but BEYONCE is the best album of the decade.

I can name at least 5 albums that are better: 21, Speak Now, 1989, Born This Way, The Fame Monster

BEY has Drunk In Love and Jealous at least, but nothing else has held up well for me from that album. Swift's album is very monotone and none of the hooks entice.

Bey's best lyrics on this album are better than Taylor's best. But you could go either way here, especially if you take into consideration that Taylor writes her own lyrics and the lyrics Bey wrote on her own are quite simplistic (Blue, Drunk).

Definitely Beyoncé. Taylor's production is good, but Bey's is unique and varied while still cohesive. It's no contest really.
