DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER: Rihanna’s whirlwind, globe-trotting 777 Tour, hitting seven cities in seven days, ends tomorrow night in New York, following stops in Mexico City, Toronto, Stockholm, Paris, Berlin and London. The promo gambit was created to support Ri Ri’s new Def Jam/IDJ longplayer Unapologetic—not that it needs any help. The album looks like it will over-perform, powered by her hit single “Diamonds,” with major props going to IDJ topper Steve Bartels and to her manager, Roc Nation’s Jay Brown, who helped Rihanna A&R the project.
