This is a thread where those of us who have Netflix can discuss and recommend movies/ TV shows.

I just watched this movie called Short Term 12 and I really think that ya'll should watch it, it's an amazing movie and I think it's independent. It's pretty sad but still very good.

Titles in bold are highly recommended by ATRL'ers

Oh, neat, I've been thinking about creating a thread for Netflix recommendations.

The Cabin in the Woods is so good if you're looking for a good horror film. And The IT Crowd is probably the best comedy TV series on there.

I recommend the 2010 documentary Freakonomics. It's about incentive-based thinking. It's great!

Scandal is pretty good show. only took 1 episode to get on the hook. (I already finished all 3 season in less than a week)

I can testify, it's great, and Jake Gyllenhaal is in it so there's some good eye candy

If you don't mind subtitles, Summer Storm and North Sea Texas (in German and Dutch respectively) are two gay-themed movies that I enjoyed tremendously and I highly recommend them.

Also, I'm watching Desperate Housewives and I'm so hooked, already on season 5. I'm thinking of starting House after.
