Gave Taylor a short introduction saying "Grammy Award Winner Taylor Swift is performing". They have only mentioned her once during the week that she's performing.
At the start of the show they introduce Pharrell and say "International superstar Pharell is headlining tonight tonight's show" and give him a long and dramatic introduction, which was much better than the very short one they gave to Taylor
They gave Pharrell fake receipts to look better than Taylor saying Pharrell has sold 100m albums
They have also been hyping Pharrells performance all week, mention his performance a LOT of times and have paid Taylor dust by giving her a quick mention once the day before she performs.
Taylor is the bigger star and has sold more singles, albums and tour receipts so I don't know why they need to pay her dust like this
You're beyond pathetic what a reach, why would they shade her when they have paid for her to be on the show?
Gurl they've paid Taylor absolute DUST all week and it's clear that she's the bigger star than Pharrell. They've nonstop hyped him all week and have mentioned Taylor once.
If they have showed Pharrell as the "bigger act" then that's because he is [in the UK definitely]. Taylor Swift really isn't known in the UK so they wouldn't have focused as much on her.
The reach Its true that Happy is probably more global than anything Taylor has ever done but I don't think it was intended to be shady. Would you rather them say "Grammy-award winning and international superstar Pharrell Williams is performing.... oh and so is Taylor Swift"? At least they're acknowledging one of her achievements.
This isn't shade. They had her on the show. She was there. They had her there. It's that simple.
Even from what you said , its clear that you're just saying she's just another artist to them. Kinda what the OP is saying they made Taylor to be in comparison to Pharrel, so yeah it is "shade" ......
