The only changes in top 10 music markets are that Germany again overtook UK and South Korea replaced the Netherlands.

IFPI’s 2014 “Recording Industry In Numbers” report was released today and it also includes top 50 global albums of 2013 so hopefully it will leak

Cant you notice its declined. So it might have been two years back.

And then people complain when most of us focus on US sales, peaks and stats. It's so much bigger than all the other markets on the list

South Korea I'm a bit shocked about Japans numbers...

You are missing the point that all the other markets combined are bigger. And some artists focus only on the USA which is wrong.
That's not a problem for the global artists tho
Example: Adele sold 11M Albums in the USA with 21, and 25M WW.. What if they focused only on the USA and UK for example ..
WW sales are the most important (which means USA+UK+Australia+Japan+ all the other countries together)

And usually Japan mostly matters for the local japanese acts. Those are the ones with the huge frontloaded sales.
