I saw people were confused to what this event was so I made this :
gamescom is the largest trade fair and event highlight for interactive games in Cologne. More than 340,000 visitors celebrated the `next generation of gaming` on the gamescom 2013. This year the journey will continue. Together with our visitors we are ready to play to discover new worlds.
Over the past few years gamescom has beaten E3 in attendance and now many industry insiders feel this is the year it overtakes E3 in all fields. Expect big reveals from EA, Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo.

At Xbox's press conference expect more news on big titles such as Halo: Master Chief collection, Sunset Overdrive, Forza Horizon 2 and more titles we don't know about.

At Playstation expect more info from The Order and LittleBigPlanet 3. We can also expect alot of indie support aswell as a reveal of the survial horror game, Until Dawn.

EA usually disappoints at Gamescom but this year could be different. Aside from new details on Battlefield: Hardline, Dragon Age and their slew of sports games. Expect a new game reveal from Mass Effect developer, Bioware.

Nintendo arent doing much at gamescom as much as we know. We know they will host a Smash Bros event similar to E3 but thats all we know.
