Bill O'Reilly has slammed Beyoncé, accusing her of "harming children" with her music videos.
The US television host, speaking on a recent episode of The O'Reilly Factor, said that it is "a load of nonsense" to think that the 'XO' singer empowers women.
"The 'empowering' stuff is just so much garbage," said O'Reilly. "Empowering what? She sings songs."
He also commented that he believes the singer has a "negative influence" on young girls.
"Especially those who do not have parental supervision," he continued. "[There are] cultural deficits... not only [in] black precincts, but in poor, white precincts and Hispanic precincts with unsupervised children... Beyoncé is part of that problem.
"Beyoncé knows that young girls [are] getting pregnant in the African-American community, and now it's about 70% [who are] out of wedlock," O'Reilly added.
"She should be smart enough to know what she is doing now is harming some children."
This isn't a "black" or "white" issue. Beyonce's message does harm children/people in general. She's the only mainstream artist that so boldly stands by her ignorant stance on domestic violence issues by supporting her husband's questionable lyricism and continues to employ men that have known histories of abuse against women. That's the truth.
