JL's Best Of 2012 | TOP 100 SINGLES [10-01] + Albums
Hello to everyone and welcome to my "Best of 2012". I'm really late this year but to be honest I was so busy that I decided to do this basically today that I have some time off. This year I'm doing a Top 100 Singles and a Top 10 Albums of my favorite and most played music in 2012. The first update is coming soon!
Kylie's only entry in this year's top 100. The lyrics of this song are really sad: "Distant child, my flower are you blowing in the breeze can you feel me as I breathe life into you"
Justin Bieber feat. Big Sean "As Long As You Love Me"
Ok, I really dislike this kid, but I can't deny that I actually like this song which it's his best single so far. This is his only entry.
Pitbull "Back In Time"
Another guilty pleasure. This song is here basically because of the "Dirty Dancing" sample which I really like.
Ellie Goulding "Anything Could Happen"
I had mixed feeling about this song at first but it's really cute and it finally grew on me at the end of the year. The 5th Harmony performance/cover on the X-Factor also helped a little. This is the first of 2 entries by Ellie.
Madonna feat. Nicki Minaj & M.I.A "Give Me All Your Luvin'"
Kinda disappointing comeback by the Queen Of Pop. IMO the highlight of this song is the production. This is the first of 2 entries of Madge on my top 100.
Miguel "Adorn"
Definitely one of the best R&B songs released this year. I thought this song could be more successful on the pop charts but it's gonna take a little while for good R&B to make a comeback on the mainstream charts.
Emeli Sandé "Next To Me"
I wish I had payed more attention to Emeli this year. She's very talented and her album is very good. Another song by her (where she's the featured artist) is coming much later.
Garbage "Big Bright World"
2012 was the year of the comeback of 3 of my favorites female fronted bands of the 90's. Garbage is one of them and "Big Bright World" was the best single released by them this year. This is their only appearance.
Lana Del Rey "Ride"
I liked the vibe of this song and the video also helped for me to like it. This is the first of 4 entries by Lana on my top 100.
Aerosmith "What Could Have Been Love?"
Another of my all-time favorites bands making a comeback this year. This song is very similar to some of their previous works but it has that classic sound of Aerosmith and the song is good enough and much better than Steven's solo single released last year. This is their only appearance this year.
