Hi there! Welcome to The Beatles: The Classics Rate, hosted by conatus and enxe.

It's very likely you know who The Beatles are. It's also very likely you know at least some of their songs especially if you're white.

In this rate, we will be pitting fifty songs from the Fab Four against one another to decide which song from the biggest band of all time is the best. These are just some of the defining Beatles songs, displaying the diversity of their discography over the years.

Your job? To rate each of these songs to help us decide that.

THE RULES:

1. There is a total of fifty songs in this rate. You must score every song from 0 to 10. One lucky song can receive an 11 from you, if you so wish.

2. PM your scores to either me (conatus) or enxe.

3. Decimals of up to 2 places are allowed. We will allow a 9.5, a 9.25, but not a 9.733282819181614. So don't even try it.

4. The deadline is 11PM GMT on September 6th. That gives you plenty of time to (re-)acquaint yourselves with these songs. We have included YouTube links in the OP, but there are also countless singles collections by the band out there. Taylor may have influenced the boys to not put their songs on Spotify, but they're not difficult to find! No excuses!

5. Commentaries are appreciated, but not compulsory. It's always nice to read why someone gave a 0 to a song, or why it got your 11, or why it got a 9 but not a 10.

6. No trolling! If we so much as even suspect you're trying to rig the rate, we will refuse to count your scores.
