James Arthur to return to UK #1
Quote:
James Arthur looks set to return to the top of the UK singles chart with 'Impossible'.
The X Factor winner is currently at number one in this week's chart update, reclaiming the top spot from The Justice Collective, according to an update from The Official Charts Company.
Arthur has sold a further 125,000 copies of the Shontelle cover so far this week, taking its tally to 838,000. In just under three weeks, it has already outsold the full totals of former X Factor debut singles by Joe McElderry, One Direction, JLS, Little Mix and Olly Murs.
Elsewhere, Psy has rocketed back up four places to number two with 'Gangnam Style', while will.i.am and Britney Spears stay at three with 'Scream and Shout'.
The Justice Collective's 'He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother' slips to four, with Murs climbing to five with 'Troublemaker'.
Robbie Williams leaps seven spots to seven with 'Candy', while Rihanna climbs back up to eight with 'Diamonds'.
There are also several re-entries in the lower end of the top 40, as is tradition for the post-Christmas week chart. Carly Rae Jepsen and Sam and the Womp are among the former number ones to make a re-appearance.
In the albums chart update, Emeli Sandé is currently top with 2012 bestseller Our Version of Events.
However, there is currently only 4,000 copies separating her from the rest of the top three, which also includes Michael Bublé's Christmas and Right Place Right Time by Olly Murs.
Rihanna's Unapologetic and Bruno Mars's Unorthodox Jukebox complete the top five, while Labrinth also shoots up 38 places to 23 with Electronic Earth. (source)
