"The Last Time".


"The Last Time" is a song recorded by American recording artist Taylor Swift, taken from her fourth studio album, Red (2012). It features singer Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol and was written by Swift, Lightbody and Jacknife Lee, who also produced this song and is best known for working with Snow Patrol and U2.. "The Last Time" is an alternative rock song.

"The Last Time" will be released as the seventh (UK) single from her 4x platinum album, 'RED'.

I find this to be a weird single choice. I mean, it's a nice song but it doesn't scream 'smash'. And her last international single was a collab.

Excuse me what.

As holy this song is, it is NOT single material. People will call it sleepy or dreary.

I hope they send it to US pop, alternative and adult radio.

Then we get a country radio single, and they both underperform. I remember Everything Has Changed/ Red all too well.

Hmmm an interesting choice.

This was my favorite song when the album came out. I think it's fantastic and really mature.

Best song on SacRED along with Holy Ground. It better smash.

It's a good fall time choice, and the release is probably meant to coincide with Her Glamour UK cover article + announcement of the European tour dates.

Snow Patrol aren't on tour right now, so it's possible that they could open RED: European Leg. Then we'd see this on the set list every night.


I just want (1) a video, (2) US release dates across numerous formats, and (3) some flawless promo appearances on both sides of the pond since the last useful promo was like... 3 singles ago.
