SINGLES
Yes, Karise Eden did indeed walk away was the winner of the first local season of 'The Voice' and yes indeed, she has done enough to debut atop the ARIA singles charts this week, but it's not with her winner's single 'You Won't Let Me'. Oh no. It's with her performance of the classic 'Stay With Me Baby'. So well did Karise sell this week, she her songs make up a staggering 80% of the ARIA top five. And according to chart guru Gavin Ryan, it's the first time in the history of the ARIA charts that one artist has occupied four of the top five positions and the last artist to claim so many of the top spots was The Beatles back in 1964. He also tells us that no other artist in Australian chart history has achieved three debuts within the top five.
So, Karise is at No.1 with 'Stay With Me Baby' (accredited gold), Karise is at No.2 with 'Hallelujah' (also now gold) and Karise debuts at No.3 with 'I Was Your Girl' (another gold accreditation).
Only Sarah De Bono spoils the Karise top five party with her track 'Beautiful', which debuts at No.4.
Karise's winner's single 'You Won't Let Me' debuts at No.5.
Last week's No.1, therefore, is relegated to the No.6 position, but it's not all bad news for Flo Rida, with 'Whistle' scoring a third platinum accreditation. Maroon 5's 'Payphone' gets a second platinum gong and 'The Voice' performer Darren Percival debuts at No.8 with 'Damage Down'.
Carly Rae's single 'Call Me Maybe' goes six times platinum, Karise Eden's version of Rebecca Ferguson's 'Nothing's Real But Love' rockets back to No.11 (up from No.54), her version of 'Landslide' up from No.42 to No.15.
Darren Percival is back into the mix at No.17 with 'For Once In My Life', Ed Sheeran's 'Lego House' scores another platinum brick and Karise Eden's back in the action at No.21 with her version of 'It's A Man's World' (up from No.67).
All this 'Voice' action, of course, means that some of our more established chart hits have taken a tumble. Nicki Minaj's 'Starships' sails down the charts from No.11 to No.22, but gains a fifth platinum accreditation (350,000 copies), James Morrison's 'I Won't Let You Go' goes platinum and Delta Goodrem's 'Sitting On Top Of The World' hits the double platinum mark.
Mister Johnny Ruffo's not quite 'On Top' with his debut single... He'll have to settle for No.28 at this stage. And Rachael Leahcar just misses the top 30 with her single 'Shooting Star' debuting at No.31 and 'Smile' in at No.34.
Karise Eden is hot on her heels with another track - her version of 'Back To Black' up from No.86 to No.36.
Keith Urban's 'Without You' (performed on the show) debuts at No.39, the UK No.1 'Feel The Love' from Rudimental is up from No.55 to No.42, Ricki-Lee's 'Do It Like That' gets a platinum nod and Fun's new single 'Some Nights' premieres at No.46.
Guy Sebastian's 'Gold' lives up to its name, Matchbox Twenty's 'She's So Mean' debuts at No.48 and Sarah De Bono's cover of Tina Arena's 'If I Didn't Love You' is in at No.50.
Outside the top 50, Darren Percival's Paul Young cover 'Wherever I Lay My Hat (That's My Home)' rises from No.80 to No.56, Ivan Gough's club smash 'In My Mind' falls from No.31 to No.60, Ian Carey's 'Amnesia' re-enters at No.62 and Diana Rouvas' 'I Can't Make You Love Me' is down from No.32 to No.77.
A few more debuts further down the list come courtesy of Marina & The Diamonds ('Primadonna' at No.81), Major Lazer ('Get Free' at No.82), Emeli Sande ('My Kind Of Love' at No.84) and Meiko ('Stuck On You' at No.85).
Justin Bieber's 'Beauty And A Beat' is in at No.91, Cheryl's 'Call My Name' hits No.92 and Darren Percival's 'Jealous Guy' is in at No.100.
Justin Bieber's 'As Long As You Love Me' suffers the week's biggest drop - from No.33 last week to gone from the top 100 altogether after just one week.
'The Voice' contestants hold 26 positions in this week's top 100.

The Voice's impact in Australia is bigger than in the US AND UK combined.
