It's pointing out their hypocrisy. They say that All Lives Matter, but heaven forbid you use an inclusive phrase in reference to the December holidays. In other words, they don't actually believe that all lives matter.

Not an analogy, IMO; more of an observation.

All lives do matter, including black lives.

There are bigger issues in life than a hashtag.

... no it isn't. do you mean "includes"? there are other holidays celebrated around that time that aren't Christmas. Diwali, Kwanzaa and Chanukah come to mind.

Happy Holidays includes everything from Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and all other end of the year holidays...

Um no. Happy Holidays includes thanksgiving, Christmas, NYE, Hanuka and Kwanzaa.

All Lives Matter (and Blue Lives Matter) are reactionary "movements" that sprouted in order to devalue the Black Lives Matter movement.

No idea why that's so difficult for some, like Hazard, to comprehend.

The point went way over your head. It's 2016, almost 2017, and Internet conversation does matter as we've seen with the recent US election. The #BLM opens up conversation and allows a new dialogue to take place concerning topics relevant to the black community. #ALM is a response used by ignorant people who feel excluded and refuse to pay attention to topics relevant to the safety of the black community.

saying "no all lives matter" is as stupid as saying "no merry christmas" to happy holiday or saying all the diseases matter to X disease charity
