NU's recruitment albeit shady is better than FEU's push for Pingoy rule( it's a rule that indicates highschool players from any of the UAAP affiliated highschools who are planning to enrol in another UAAP affiliated university after their graduation from highschool to undergo forced 2 years of residency in college before having the right to suit up for your team.
NU gives players the choice to turn down their offers and other perks while FEU(and other universities) will not give that to their players unless they give them a clearance which for sure won't be given to highschool standout athletes who wants to transfer to another UAAP university because of perks or better education from universities with higher accredition than FEU(e.g. La Salle and Ateneo) just for the sake of manipulating the rookie pool in their sports program.
