The song is Braxton’s first chart-topper since “Just Be a Man About It” led for two weeks in 2000, while Babyface hadn’t reached the summit since “Every Time I Close My Eyes” resided at the apex for two weeks in 1997. “Hurt” is Braxton’s seventh No. 1 on the ranking and Babyface’s fifth.
