From Peace Arch Entertainment Group Inc. and Artina Films, the feature film explores the murder of John Lennon in 1980. Jarrett Schaeffer wrote the movie and is directing.
Leto (who has put on quite a few pounds for the role) stars as Lennon's killer Mark Chapman, who is torn between his awe of Lennon and his desire to be famous himself. Lohan plays a devoted Lennon fan who befriends Chapman on that fateful weekend in New York.
