10. Atlas by Coldplay - a laid back, comforting love song taken off the Catching Fire soundtrack. This wonderful song sets the tune for the movie.

09. Counting Stars by OneRepublic - again, my list goes surprisingly not POP and more alternative. Counting Stars may be one of the band's best songs, with its insanely catchy chorus and clever lyrics. Certainly a gem of 2013.
