ATRL: ATRL Tea: We're a family

Around ATRL I've noticed a trend that troubles me greatly... Whenever we have a thread made about our "least favorite members," time and time again I see the same thing occurring.
People most often list members they say they don't like, but have no real/legitimate reason why. These are usually members they haven't really even interacted with or tried to get to know. I'd like to change that and try to bring us together as a more cohesive group. ATRL is a family. We might not always get along, but we should be able to respect one another enough to not form judgments without first getting to know each other.
That's what the purpose of this thread is. I was inspired by a recent topic concerning "members you can't stand," and was a little shocked to see that PopBoi (who I don't feel I've ever had a problem with) listed me as a member he "can't stand," but said he couldn't put his finger on the reason why. I've had similar interactions with other members who don't know me, but I never understand why they think I'm such a bad person. I know I've incorrectly perceived members before, and many of you have too, so let's take an active role in figuring out who our fellow members actually are. Here's what I want you to do:
1. Post a small bio about yourself in this thread. Try to present yourself the way you'd like to be perceived on ATRL, and mention some of the things that define you in real life. Ultimately, we should be able to get a realistic sense of who you are.
2. After some bios are posted, reply to someone's post from this thread who you've seen around but haven't interacted with much in the past. Comment on what you liked about their bio, and possibly start building a new friendship.
3. Try to build and maintain new friendships with at least three people from this thread, and make a conscious effort to get to know other members in the future. The goal here is to try to understand people before passing incorrect judgments on them, as well as to become a more cohesive group/family. The only way that's possible is through effective communication. We all spend lots of time posting and communicating here on ATRL, now it's time to demonstrate why we're such a valuable group.
ATRL isn't just a place we go to be rude to other people, we come here because it provides something positive for us. When we're able to make a positive difference in someone else's life, even if they live on the other side of the world, it feels great. Why not start now?

I'm Jonathan, but everyone calls me Jonny. I'm 17 and I'm bisexual.
I like Britney more than anyone, but I also listen to Gaga, Beyonce, Xtina, Katy, Ke$ha and Rihanna Natalia Kills, Jessie & the Toy Boys, Dev, Miley, Marina, Selena .
Sometimes their stans get me mad so I drag their fave, but I never mean it.
I'm into art and I plan to study at NYU next year. I write music, and am venturing into producing music.
I'm also into fitness and health, and am a dancer who hopes to one day be a back-up dancer for a famous pop star.
So I'm basically a dreamer, but I plan on achieving some. I also want to see the world.

Howdy all!
I'm the gay son of a Marine in real life, so I tend to have a confrontational, no-nonsense approach to things. I'm a real artfreak, so I'm not big into charts/receipts/whatever. I just like beautiful music of all shapes and sizes.
I know I have a reputation for shading Christina and Katy, but I really don't dislike them or their stans THAT much. ATRL is just a fun place to be negative and bitchy without any real world consequence for me.
Also I'm an aspiring screenwriter, musician, and director. And a Speech-Language Pathology student.

Hey everybody!
I love music and If I like a song by an artist I can't stand, I will make it known. When I judge an artist its not only because I'm a bey stan and I hate the fact that people look at my avi and immediately assume that I hate Rihanna(I admit to dragging her a few times only because some of her fans are terrible). I don't hate Rihanna. Yes, I admit I don't get along with her fans but actually wish we did get along!
I want to own a record label when I'm older and open doors for many talented young people.
That is all.

I am Nait Phoenix. Call me Nait, plz! Old enough to drive, young enough to drink.
I love music, with a passion. I write songs, compose music, and I listen to an eclectic amount of music. I stan for artists that are seen as somewhat unrepresentable, but I find that the most unrepresentable end up making some of my favorite songs to date. I'm currently learning how to run a production studio so I can get some kind of career off the ground. I try to be nice on here, but, as I've said before, cross me and I will not hold back (but not so much that it gets me banned for the first time )
Many of the artists I see people stan for, on here, I am a fan of, but I don't like it when people draw up crazy delusions to the point where even the artist wouldn't like to be talked about in that way. I kinda wanna be the mediator in such arguments, but most times I just wanna stay out of it. I feel better knowing that what I think isn't always going to be what someone else thinks.
I enjoy watching many popular reality shows (outside of MTV ), but I actually have a love for cartoons. Cartoons to me are such a fun and entertaining media form that doesn't go by the norm anymore; mostly, because I feel they're not just for kids all the time. And I suck at ending my sentences... so I'll just end with that I'd like to get to know more people on this site. Sooner or later, doesn't matter.

My real name is Shaun.
I'm 21, I'm a senior at Columbia University, I'm from NYC, born and raised. My parents are Trinidadian.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE to read. I'm a incredibly veracious reader. James Baldwin, Iris Murdoch, Honoré de Balzac are my favorite writers. When I was young I would spend the evenings after school in the back of the public library reading every book I could. get my hands on. By the time I was 12, I was reading on a 10th grade reading level.
I love Chillwave music, I love Soca music, I ADORE Miss Toni Braxton (she's one of the premier vocal goddesses of the 1990's).
I am feverishly obsessed with actor/comedian/rapper Donald Glover ( the adonis in my AVI). I would perform every imaginable sexual position known to man, if I ever had the chance.

Hi. My real name is Jonathan Alström, I'm soon 17.
I stan for Lady Gaga mostly, but also Pixie Lott. Music is a really big part of my life and has helped me through very tough periods of my life.
I'm at my second year out of three in High School. After that, I wanna go to the US and go to college, because I want to experience life in another country + I've always wanted to go to the US.
In real life, I'm a really nice guy. I'm also very shy, which have, and still is, a huge problem. It has lead to that I can have problems connecting with new people and getting my voice heard.

I'm Chris. I'll be 21 at the end of November. Gay. obvi.
I rock a Bey icon and username because it's fun seeing all the lesser posters drag Bey into their argument when I make a valid negative point about their fave and they aren't able to take. Kelly Clarkson is my true Queen, so I obviously don't care much about chart topping and success (#shade). I love every popstar out there but I WILL speak my very opinionated mind on them and you will not like it.
I'm going to school for graphic design and advertising. But I hate being ties down to one thing, so I'll likely finish this and grab two more majors. I love travel. and... that's it.
xoxo
