The Voice coach Christina Aguilera has blasted rival show The X Factor USA for "bash[ing] talent".
The 'Your Body' singer, who announced last month that she is taking a hiatus from The Voice, accused Simon Cowell's Fox competition of stereotyping contestants.
"We're not there [on The Voice] to bash talent," Metro quotes her as saying. "We're not here to tear people down just for ratings or just for fun or just to make ourselves look good.
"The whole concept of the blind auditions is truly genius. There are no stereotypes that you can judge someone on, other than their genuine talent and raw vocal skill."
Despite praising The Voice, Aguilera has admitted that she is unsure about returning to the NBC show after its fourth season next year.
Shakira and Usher have been confirmed to replace Aguilera and her fellow departing coach Cee Lo Green.
She has a point. On the X Factor, they say "He has a good voice, but I don't think he can survive in the competition" or "He's good, but not worth 5 million dollars"

And I'm an X-Factor stan.
But it's true. And that's why there is a greater chance of someone from the X-Factor having a career than anyone who ever was/will be on the voice.
Well it's not like she lied. I don't watch either show regularly but The X Factor seems so edited and overproduced it doesn't even feel like a singing competition.
She's right. And the same goes for American Idol. Really, the only reason most people watch the shows during the auditions is to see how terrible some people are, and to laugh when they're dragged by the judges.
Let's be honest, 75% of X Factor contestant gonna have an amazing career while only one of The Voice contestant will have a success and that is Casadee Hope
The Voice gets boring. Thinking everybody on the show is talented. Their "professional" artists rarely make me go WOW on an audition. Only a few have made me go 'wow' but the amount of contestants they have, I find it all mediocre.
