Introduction
Welcome to Create A Label 3: All Stars. This season has been filled with creativity, competition and a whole lot of drama. Overall, the Create A Label 3 season has scored over 200.000 views for the threads and almost 18.000 posts making it the biggest season of Create A Label yet to start out in Games. But before I explain the format of this game, I think there’s one important question that needs to be answered.
What is an All Star?
An All Star is a player who has had a tremendous impact or influence overall in the game and is a force that should not be forgotten. This season, we were able to witness creativity at its finest with excellent performance writers. We’ve also had consistent forces setting charting streaks and having an absolutely astonishing and amazing amount of repeated success. In addition, we’ve had new players come in with smashing debuts and have built a name for themselves quite quickly. And of course, we’ve had the actives, veterans, chart-toppers and people that all around make the game truly a better competition. I’m honored to call each one of you All Stars and just know that whatever happens - you’re a superstar.
With that being said, I think it is time to innovate Create A Label. This All Stars competition will be like no other version of Create A Label in history, as we are undergoing the biggest advance yet. I am very excited to announce that charts will not be based on the typical promotion alone. This means that from now on, all charts for the remainder of the season will be inspired by different factors - Radio Airplay, Digital Sales, Streaming and Public Voting. In other words, the charts will reflect Billboard Hot 100 charts where there will be official different categories for promotion. The percentage of each category’s weight will not be revealed until the Finale/Reunion of the season
New Chart Factors
Radio Airplay
Every day, you have the opportunity to have your artist’s single be played on the CAL Radio. There will be an official CAL Radio chart posted everyday revealing the information about yesterday’s Radio Airplay. So here’s how it works:
50 Spins = 1 Point
25 Bullet = 1 Point
Spins represent the amount of times your track will be played on CAL Radio stations. This is crucial as you would want your single to get played a lot, as many times as possible in order to have a high portion of points for the official chart. The amount of Spins you pay for will also contribute to the amount of Bullet that you will receive. Bullet represents how frequent your single is being played, at more popular set times on air or during special countdowns and shows. Bullet will help you achieve more Audience Impressions, which will be calculated by me using a formula involving the Spin Amount and the Bullet Amount. Radio Airplay of course will play a very big part towards your chart performance, but it’s also important to manage your points well.
Digital Sales
Background Information
Of course, to make money you need to sell your product, with the element we call Digital Sales. Every day, an iTunes chart will be posted reflecting which single or album was the most purchased of the day. However with this chart, you will not be able to see the exact amount of copies an artist sold that day. So here’s the paid promotion situation:
Ellen (Monday) = 3 Points
The Voice (Tuesday) = 7 Points
America’s Got Talent = 5 Points
Now this is where the traditional game of Create A Label comes in. To earn Digital Sales, you must write articles about your artist promoting their single or album. There have been drastic changes to the formula in terms of Digital Sales, as it will be much harder to earn high figures. As for the paid promotion up top, there will be a competition to see which three of you will receive the slots available. More details on that will be given later in the OP.
Touring
You may send out your artist on a tour if you please, as touring will contribute towards your Digital Sales. Each tour date costs only two points. You must have a minimum of four tour dates but you cannot exceed ten.
Streaming
This category in my opinion, is the coolest part about the new system of Create A Label. That’s because with Streaming you will actually have videos uploaded to YouTube, and views will be calculated and used towards the formula for the chart. There are different kinds of videos that you may wish to premiere, but they all come at a little cost:
Audio = 1 Point
Exclusive Concert/Performance = 2 Points
Company Interview = 2 Points
Behind-The-Scenes = 2 Points
Lyric Video = 3 Points
Alternative Music Video = 4 Points
Music Video = 5 Points
A YouTube account will be set up shortly. And with each video, you can monitor how many views they are getting therefore there is really no urge to have a daily chart, unless the competition is getting down to the wire.
Public Voting
This category of contribution to the chart is completely new and designed in order to help y’all out. Each day, the members of ATRL will PM me voting for one artist. By giving a “vote” to one artist, the artist will receive additional Digital Sales to their music. This will not play a huge role in the game, but if you have the opportunity to gain more points for the chart, then it’s probably a good idea to do so. Each member is only allowed to vote once a day and the artist is only allowed to gather a maximum of twenty votes per week. All extra votes will be discarded as like I said, this element is not supposed to weight high towards the chart but it should definitely have an impact.
So I hope you guys are enjoying the new changes to the chart and to the game! Remember, if you have any questions it is best to contact me from Wall Posts because that’s the area where I can respond to you as quick as possible. Now, let’s get further into detail.
Point System
Each week, you will receive fifty points. You will start off a bit limited, which is why budget management is extremely important. However, each week there is a certain system of point management. For the charts, the final number will be released in points but they are just points that you have charted with, not the kind of points that you can spend. The number of chart points will be converted into spending points for you to add to your account. However, you may not be able to keep them all for the following week.
Every label always deals with a money crisis, which is why a little nice element to shake up the points is added. Every week, on Saturday I will take the amount of points you have extracted from the chart, and a random drawing will decide how many points you can take with you to the following week. This will be based on a percentage, where the only options for drawing are: 75%, 80%, 85%, 90%, 95% and 100%. You are guaranteed to take at least 75% of the points you’ve earned, which is pretty good. And each week, you will have more points added to your account. The system will work like this:
Week #2: +5 Points
Week #3: +10 Points
Week #4: +15 Points
Week #5: +20 Points
Week #6: +25 Points
Like I said again, it is important that every week you manage your points well.
Weeks
This season on Create A Label 3: All Stars we have nine contestants participating, but of course there can only be one winner. This game will be broken up into weeks, where every week one player will be eliminated. I will also explain some other twists and turns with the amount of weeks in just a moment. Here they are:
Week #1: Top 8 /// All of the eight players will start off with only one artist. At the end of the week, the player will the lowest amount of points but altogether will be the first one eliminated.
Week #2: Top 7 /// The remaining seven players will compete with the same artist they have started out with from Week #1. At the end of the week, the player with the lowest amount of points (including/adding Week #1 points) will be eliminated.
Week #3: Top 6 /// From this moment on, you will be competing with two artists. At the end of the week, I will calculate how many points you’ve earned, then divide by two which will average your points out. I will add your average points with the points from Week #1 and Week #2. Whoever has the lowest amount of combined points will be eliminated.
Week #4: Top 5 /// You will continue to play with two artists this week. At the end of the week, I will once again average out the total amount of points you’ve earned and add them with Week #3’s average points and the points you have earned from Week #1 and Week #2. The player with the lowest amount of points will be eliminated.
Week #5: Top 4 /// You will add one final artist to your label, making a finishing total of three artists that you will be competing with. At the end of the week, I will take your points from the three artists and average them all out. I will add on the final figures from each week to determine the two lowest labels. The two players will the lowest amount of total points will be eliminated, and miss their shot to win it all at the finale.
Week #6: Final Two /// At the finishing week of the game, the two labels will continue with their three artists signed before. However this week, I will not average their points with their three artists. So the total amount of points they have earned this week will get added from Week #5’s average, Week #4’s average, Week #3’s average and the points from Week #2 and Week #1. The player with the overall most points after these will become the winner of Create A Label 3: All Stars, while the other player will become the runner-up.
Now that we have the length/format of the game, I would like to explain the Tracking Week since it is very odd. The Tracking Week will be from midnight EST on Sunday, where promo lists will be due at 11:59PM EST on Friday. This leaves Saturday as a Break Day, where the final charts will be revealed, but there is one more thing.
Chart Reveals
This season of Create A Label, we are adding midweek charts along with the daily Digital Sales and Radio Airplay charts. The midweek chart will be revealed on Tuesday, but there will be no specific amount of points that you have earned to rank on the chart, still keeping the suspense of competition in play with the game. The official charts will be released on Saturday, each week accompanied with a party to reveal the chart. This will be your artist’s weekly chance to shine. At the parties, each one of you is required to perform since it is the only promotion you will have to do on Saturday. Your performances will be graded by me, and your review will contribute to your numbers of Digital Sales. So the more creative your performance is, the more it will pay off on the charts.
Releasing Material
This is just a basic guide for releasing new music, and this is all you need to know.
Album /// Costs 8 Points. Can only be released one time throughout the game per artist.
Single /// Costs 5 Points. Can only be released once every week per artist.
Promotional Single /// Costs 3 Points. Only one promotional single from an album is allowed per artist.

I know but you're a judge in Celebrity Idol, you're doing Kill Switch and now this. Plus I'm sure there's other stuff you're participating in that I can't think of/am not aware of right now. You best not quit on anything!

Don't worry about it sis, and about Celebrity Idol... the Auditions Rounds might be the only round I judge in I need to focus on my hosting duties first and foremost, plus schoolwork so we'll see how things turn out to be

I always use my NP for showing what's "now playing" on my avatar. If I actually did it according to what I'm currently listening/addicted to, I'd have to change it everyday.
Also, why am I even posting in here? I'm not into these types of games.
