, I've had it once before. I had been reading about it and then I woke up but hadn't opened my eyes yet and I knew what was happening (I couldn't move) so I refused to open my eyes because I know people hallucinate figures and stuff and then I could hear two men having a conversation in my room & it slowly faded away. I guess it wasn't too scary because I knew what was happening but not being able to move was awful.
Also: I started sleeping on my side instead of my back and it never happened again
I always wanted to experience Sleep Paralysis but I NEVER imagined it would be sexual. I thought i'd be surrounded by demons staring at me or something
But I have had quite a lot of flying/out-of-body experiences. I think I was Aladdin in one of my dreams and I was flying on that magic carpet thing through my neighbourhood while being chased by this suspicious guy wearing a balaclava There was another dream where I literally felt my soul float out of my body and I was looking at myself sleeping. Also - as a kid - I used to
vomit
whenever I had nightmares but I won't get into that I've also had dreams where it felt like I was travelling at the speed of light. I don't remember my dreams as much anymore, sadly. They're pretty cool tho!
Yeah, loads of times man. I get it way more often if I take a nap, and I'm not fully asleep. Waking up with sore vocal chords from screaming to wake yourself up <<<
Haven't had that in a long time. I always made sure I snapped out of it before it took over You kind of feel it creeping up like you are being sucked into a black hole and it gets harder to move your body. I've heard people who let it happen feel like shadowy figures, witches and creepy old men are sitting on top of their chest, holding them down and staring into their eyes.
The first time I had sleep paralysis was the scariest for me because well it was a new experience and a pillow was covering half of my face so it was a bit hard to breathe.
I get a lot of sleep paralysis, it becomes so-so over time since I can always snap out of it by shaking my head. The downside to that though is that every time I force my self to snap out it, I get another one right after and another one but after a third time it stops.
I think the deep sleep I go into right before having one is probably scarier than sleep paralysis itself since it feels like you're going into a coma or even dying. At the same time, I kinda like that few seconds of deep sleep since it's very relaxing (body and mind), you feel like a feather.
