I think you're already white-washing the LGBTQ+ community by calling it a "community"...aren't there communities within that community? Are all these communities mainstream? Are all these ones antiqueer of colour, antitrans of colour, etc?
I like the idea of this thread since a lot of us feel left out of the mainstream LGBT culture because of racism and out of the mainstream black power movement because of the homophobia, just not 100% sure what you want us to discuss
And the mods weren't trying to silence black/queer voices, they literally only closed them to stop people from slandering / dragging black people. It was the other way around.
It's so upsetting but unfortunately I'm not surprised...
