This is entirely different from the old Secret Santa tradition!
In earlier years, ATRL has hosted Secret Santa. It has always been a kii,
but each year had something unique about it:
- There was the first year, 2010, which no longer exists on our server. It
was deleted due to explicit discussion and posts by Matty and Katie. x
- Then there was 2011, when only 50 people signed up and gifts were so-so. x
- 2012 is when I officially took over as host. Doc had to step in to help
with the sheer volume of gifts received. x
- Of course, 2013 was the year that all of ATRL took their holiday cheer
out on PeopleLikeUs, resulting in the largest display of hatred ever seen. x
- And of course last year, when all image links were broken, causing people
to have to guess the links of their gifts. x
So where does this leave us? We can continue the tradition on but frankly, it has run its course.
Due to popular demand, welcome to the first annual Naughty or Nice celebration!
You will not be creating any gifts!
How does this work?- Instead, this will be semi-competition style. For one exact week, starting now, people are welcome to sign up. There is no limit to amount of sign ups.
- One week from today will be the first vote on who is naughty and who is nice.
- From there, challenges will be posted in this thread. You will participate in these challenges to earn more "nice" points.
- There is a calculation method to the final determination of naughty and nice points, but that will not be revealed yet.
- There will be prizes for those who are the nicest and punishments for those who are still naughty after all of this.
