Ok well it's nearly 2012 so I though I would make my Best Of 2011
I will be doing my top 10 Albums, Top 20 singles and Top 10 video's
It will be done over 10 day with my first countdown on the 16th and final on Christmas.
Just so you guys know it's strictly singles released in 2011 so songs I've proclaimed love for like ****in' Perfect and Firework wont be included because I class them as 2010 singles.
Paramore released their first song without the Farro brothers for Transformer's 3 and it's safe to say it **** pretty hard and proved they can make great music without them. Monster was a great and catchy song with some incredible vocals by Hayley
This year Jessie J debuted on to the music scene and Do It Like A Dude didn't really win me over but her next smash single Price tag did. With great vocals, great lyrics and a catchy melody Jessie J and B.o.B released a really great song that became one of the biggest singles released in the UK this year
I liked Nicki Minaj from the start but this song made me love her. With a catchy chorus and amazingly rapped verses this song is one of the catchiest songs released this year. I seriously find myself just trying to rap the verses all the time (often in random places like the toilet or on the bus ) but this song is one of my faves released this year. I hope Nicki makes more songs like this.
Unlike a lot of people I wasn't a huge fan of Hold It Against Me but when Britney released this dance anthem I knew the Queen of pop was back. This song is irresistabley catchy and the production is amazing. It's the perfect dance song. So well done Britney and Ke$ha for making this awesome song.
Oh, Robert. Robert, Robert, Robert...you know that the beginning of this set has been pretty AWESOME, right? Hell, even that Jessie J song is pretty tolerable (thanks, in large part, to B.o.B.).
