* Sold out during pre-sales!
*
* It seems Taylor Swift tickets for her first stadium show at the Linc in Philadephia have quickly come and gone and technically they aren't even on sale yet.
*
* There were radio station pre-sales, advance tickets for Eagles season ticket holders and for American Express card holders. I guess if you are a true fan, you would have known this, and your tickets are surely secured, but really is this 21 year old worth all the hype?
*
* I say yes. I first met Taylor (I'll call her Taylor, because.....well, she wants you to) when she was 16. I was backstage at one of my first country music shows and was led to a tour bus behind the scenes at the then named Tweeter Center. Of course I was excited, first time on a tour bus.........who am I going to meet......Reba? Martina..........gasp, Dolly? Suddenly this lanky, coltish young lady with a head full of curls joins us. She sits down on the bench next to me and says "So how do you like my tour bus?" Your tour bus??? YOUR TOUR BUS?? Who was this girl?
*
* Well not only was she talented, she was kind and genuine. Over the next 5 years, I have seen her grow into a lovely young lady that has a kind word for everyone and will actually stick around to speak to each person that comes to meet her.
*
* With Taylor, it's not just a quick hello and forced photo, she actually takes the time to observe something about every person she meets and says something positive to them. Yes, you wait on line to meet Taylor and she ends up complementing you.
*
*
So I say, you go Taylor, sell out those stadiums once only thought of venues for classic rock bands. You deserve to sell out because you are not a sell out.
