My annual countdown is back and this year I will be doing an extensive list of up to 5 categories.
Starting off with music videos, different categories will be revealed at random.
CATEGORIES
1. Ariana Grande - Into You
Ariana, Ariana, Ariana! She snatched No.1 of nearly everything for me.
The final reveal is my favourite single of 2016, and yep it was the stunning "Into You".
It is pure pop perfection and everything you'd want from a major pop gal. <3
Thank you Miss. Grande!
2. In My Blood - The Veronicas.
The Veronicas always slay me, which is why they have 2 songs in my countdown!
This is such a jam, and was even nominated for an Aria award.
It signals the first taste for their upcoming album in 2017 and I could not be more excited about it.
3. Still Falling For You - Ellie Goulding.
This song took me by surprise! It's just so euphoric and catchy.
Ellie always slays when it comes to movie single and this did not disappoint!
4. This Is What You Came For - Rihanna & Calvin Harris.
Rihanna and Calvin surprised us this year by teaming up yet again! The result was pure pop perfection, and gave fans some EDM RiRi again.
If you haven't heard this one, you must have been living under a rock as radio ate it up.
Rih never fails to amaze me.
5. On Your Side - The Veronicas.
Lawd, what a jam! While short, this song quickly became one of my faves and was on constant repeat throughout the later half of the year.
SLAY GIRLS!!
6. Dear Life - Delta Goodrem.
Such a heartfelt song! Love the emotion Delta oozes here as she expresses herself on living life. <3
All the feels!
7. Hands To Myself - Selena Gomez.
While this was released on Revival last year, it finally became a single in January and it slayed the charts.
Such a jam and one of my top favourites off of the amazing EP.
8. I Don't Wanna Live Forever - ZAYN & Taylor Swift
How did they slay me like that?
Such a beautiful song and probably the most unexpected collaboration of the year. Their vocals really blend well together <3
9. Perfect Illusion - Lady Gaga.
Even though this song was met with mixed reactions from everywhere, I still think it is a great single.
It's unique in style and catchy af! Happy Gaga returned with this single and served something different. <3
10. Kill Em With Kindness - Selena Gomez.
I love this song! It was one of my faves from 'Revival' and so thankful the it got the single treatment.
She also slayed when she performed this live!
11. Kiss It Better - Rihanna.
Rihanna channeling her sex goddess yet again and creating one of her best sultry jams EVER!
12. Like Lightning - Havana Brown ft. Dawin
Love this little fun bop! Always like the music she makes and this always gets me singing along.
13. Calvin Harris - My Way
Calvin served his second bop after "This Is What You Came For". At first, he teased it to feature another famous singer, except it ended up being himself!
The track makes for a fun dance track, and Calvin sounds great on it!
14. Zayn - BeFour
Zayn makes his first appearance in my countdown! Such a talented young man.
This is one of my favourite songs from his album 'Mind of Mine'. It's chilled yet urban, plus it is catchy as heck.

Rih serves vocals like never before on this track. So happy she released it as a single! But where is the video, girl?

Dua came to slay in 2016 and while Be The One was a great debut single, Hotter Than Hell just smashed it out the park.

'Dangerous Woman' is full of quality material. Sultry, mature and pop perfection.
So many hit singles too - Dangerous Woman, Into You and Side To Side.
I love Rihanna and ANTI. It was released early in the year so many other albums took over its shine.
I just wish Rih gave us a little more pop on this album with the mix of other amazing urban jams on the album.
HONOURABLE MENTIONS: Sia - This Is Acting, Delta Goodrem - Wings of the Wild, Zayn - Mind of Mine, JoJo - Mad Love., Kings of Leon - WALLS.
1. Selena Gomez - Revival Tour
What a show!
Selena takes out no.1 tour for 2016 for me as she really wowed me with the whole show. Great setlist, a never before heard track, interaction with the audience, dancing, vocals and so forth. Everything was on point, especially the visuals for the show.
So glad she finally made it to Australia after having to cancel her first tour. It was her first Aussie show ever too and so happy I got to be there <3
2. Delta Goodrem - Wings Of The Wild Tour
I love the album so of course I loved the show!
She really knows how to put on a show. Singing all her classics, spicing them and singing all her new hits.
What I love about her is that you can really feel her appreciate her fans and connect with the audience. Dancing, crying, getting the audience involved etc.
Energy, choreography, vocals were on point. Love the album too.
P.S. photo is from the concert.
4. Ellie Goulding - Delirium Tour
Second time seeing Ellie and she delivered yet again!
The visual effects, and her little cute dance moves made for another great concert experience. Plus she even performed her new movie single "Still Falling For You"
5. Troye Sivan - Blue Neighbourhood Tour
Got to see Troye in Sydney this year and HE SLAYED!
Even though we had to wait in the pouring rain to enter the venue, he truly served vocals.
The crowd was lit when he performed "Youth".
1. Ariana Grande - Into You
This video is everything! I love the visuals, the story and Ariana looks amazing.
She really delivered the best video for her best single off 'Dangerous Woman'.
