Welcome to the Neon Hitch base thread, home of ATRL's Neon Tribe!
Neon Hitch (born May 25, 1986) is Pop's gypsy princess. Hitch began recording her debut album, Beg, Borrow, and Steal in March 2010 with Benny Blanco. Beg, Borrow, and Steal is expected (hopefully) to see its release sometime in 2013. She released promo single, "Get Over U", co-written by singer Sia, for free in January 2011. This was followed by "Silly Girl", "Bad Dog" and "Poisoned with Love", the latter which appeared in Teen Wolf and Now That's What I Call Music! 40. She also released a series of covers and mash-up covers of songs by other artists, including Wiz Khalifa's "On My Level", Waka Flocka Flame's "No Hands" and Kreayshawn's "Gucci Gucci". Hitch was also featured on "Ass Back Home" by Gym Class Heroes, which has peaked at number twelve in the Billboard Hot 100. Hitch's debut album was preceded by the single, "**** U Betta" and "Gold", co-written by singer Bruno Mars. On January 7, 2013 Neon announced her EP title Happy Neon which was to be a collaboration with producer Happy Perez. Happy Neon was released through Billboard.com on January 14, 2013.

I am so hoping 'Beg, Borrow & Steal' will see the light of day 2013. She has huge potential and I need an album by her, or at least an EP to hold me over.
I actually see a lot of star potential in her, I really do have hope that she'll break through this year.
Maybe it's because I'm a huge stan, or maybe it's because no one else knows what she's capable of
All I know is that if she brings it with an amazing image, she can do it... I know it
I also kind of hope she doesn't sell sex anymore... F U Betta is a little overboard, it doesn't feel like her.
A more toned-down gypsy image would probably be just perfect That's the Neon I, and everyone, loves best.
She should try more big name features and she'll probably do a lot better and hopefully gather a big following. Ass Back Home did very well on radio. And F U betta was at least PLAYED on radio, but it didn't do as well as I thought it would. She could get somewhere for sure.

Tyga was a good first shot and I think that Gold captured a lot of attention, too.
S we'll see what direction she decides to go in

If F U Betta didn't smash, I don't know what can. I suppose that might have been too explicit?
F U Betta is a good jam, but I honestly think she has better... and yes, it is much to explicit.
Especially for Neon... she just doesn't seem like that's her niche
I can't believe her label let Gold tank. They have no idea what they are doing with her at all.
You can't let something tank that never had a promotional push in the first place
The "confirmed" music video has never surfaced, and there has been NO promotion for Gold, like, at all
Gold went #1 on Dance Club Play this week Though it appears as if Gold is only a promo single.
Someone on Instagram commented, "can't wait for your new single!" and she replied "thanks!"
i mean i don't see how she didn't smash yet! Gold And Love you better were really good! i mean at least top 40 singles. But i guess the pop scene is too crowded for a new girl to enter right now.... I really wish she smash the charts soon! and she should drop an EP or something instead of a string of singles! so messy tbh
They were planning on dropping an EP for her in 2011... I don't know why they didn't. She has plenty listeners to put out a debut EP. Love U Betta didn't smash because it's a little generic and far too dirty...
