Dr. Luke wasn't interested in dubstep until Britney told him she wanted it on her new album. Let's not forget the Femme Fatale timeline:
In the beginning of 2010, news reports began leaking that Britney would be working on dubstep on her upcoming album.
In early 2010, Britney started working with famous dubstep producers from the underground scene such as Rusko, who eventually dropped out of the project because his house and car were burned down in a disastrous fire.
Only after October 2010did Dr. Luke join the Femme Fatale project and gained the position of executive producer , by which point, it was already a known fact that Britney's new single would include dubstep.
All Dr. Luke did was bend to her wishes, and subsequently got interested in including dubstep into his future works. The command came from Britney.

...And it got me thinking....
As we all know Britney has always been ahead of the game when it comes to music, she originally experimented with dubstep with 'Freakshow' way back in late 2006 when it was recorded and (allegedly) according to Diplo, they used to listen to Fabriclive 37, a dubstep album, together as they hung out and smoked weed.
She was planning to feature dubstep on FF
BEFORE the direction of the album was changed and
BEFORE she even worked with Dr.Luke for the album. Dr.Luke had never experimented with it before he worked with her so despite how everyone thinks britney is just some puppet and went along with it, i think it was actually HER that told him to feature it in HIAM and the other songs of the album thus making Dr.Luke want to include it in other songs like You da one, Good feeling, etc.
Thoughts?
