I dont see why he would need to go to NHB/SYG. He is discussing mediabase numbers and isnt doing it in a flamebaiting way.

Even if people do not like Born This Way, her other songs havent even topped overall 120 AI. I just find it strange where other artists can easily get the support of HAC/AC (katy perry) and rhythmic(Rihanna) but for some reason Poker Face/Just Dance/Bad Romance couldnt be 125-130 AI radio hits. I mean, Tik Tok, Firework(135 AI), etc. were all able to reach high AIs and its def. not out of question that Just Dance/Poker Face/Bad Romance were at least as equally as popular as those songs

Its true that Rihanna is the queen of Rhythmic and that Katy is gets a lot from HAC and AC.

But urban doesnt support Rihanna that much (unless its an urban song)... you can see that S&M is barely Top50 in Urban and it just add 1M AI to the total.

Anyway... Gaga's songs are POP and Pure Pop that's why the rest of the formats do not play her that much.

Firework was HUGE HUGE HUGE in Pop (It went to have 85M AI just in Pop) and HAC (around 30M) and it also got spins in Rhythmic.

The only problem with BTW is that in Rhythmic its already peaked...

And that's the most important thing for a high airplay peak. To increase and peak more or less at the same time in all formats.

I dont think S&M will go as high as OG for example (128M AI)... coz its much higher in Pop than Rhythmic, Urban and HAC.... So it will probably peak soon in Pop and by the time it gets to the #1 in Rhythmic and go maybe Top30 in HAC and Urban it will be falling in Pop... so it will peak soon but it will have good longevity.

I'd say that if S&M can go to 80M AI in Pop it could go to 120M AI, but if it starts falling in Pop soon then 110M AI is as high it can go.

If it would be around 35M in Rhythmic now that its so high in pop then it would already be about the same numbers that OG got.
