Updated Album Sales Thread.
This thread is to keep track of nearly all albums that have recently updated US sales by Soundscan. It's annoying to have to search everywhere, to have to ask around, and sometimes not find up to date receipts on albums + you're just curious on to how random albums have held up. To add any you need to post a real source reporting the Soundscan sales (@chartnews is allowed for obvious reasons).
Newer Albums (albums released under 1 year ago):

+ = there's no source, weekly sales for the album (actual given sales, not estimates) were added to get the total. If you need the breakdown feel free to ask.
Guidelines for adding sales of newer albums:
• Sales updates for newer albums cannot be over a few months old (an album released in March, shouldn't have it's last sales update be from May).
• If the last update is considerably estimated far off from what's it's new total is, and there's no new updates, it'll be removed.
• Album must be atleast four weeks old. No need to post sales for an album younger since it's likely widely available and who has the time to do every new album every week.
• Pure sales please, I'll see about a section for album equivalent sales later on once those become more given.
Older Albums (albums released over 1 year ago)
ARTIST | ALBUM | SALES TO DATE | AS OF | SOURCE | Adele | 19 | 2,824,000 | January 18 | x | Adele | 21 | 11,485,000 | January 18 | x | Amy Winehouse | Back to Black | 3,009,000 | January 11 | x | Arctic Monkeys | AM | 771,000 | January 18 | x | Lana Del Rey | Born to Die | 1,347,000 | January 18 | x | The Beatles | 1 | 12,561,000 | January 18 | x | twenty one pilots | Vessel | 428,000 | January 18 | x |
• If the album is from this decade, sales update should probably be from 2015/2016.
• Albums prior to this decade, the update should be within a year. Exceptions can be made if the album hasn't really sold much since.
• As with newer albums, once the last update looks considerably lower than what the total probably is now it'll be removed.
• No estimates pls. Exact sales.

Shania Twain also sold 2 million copies of Come On Over through that 1990's CD music service BMG. That was their biggest seller of all time, and technically keeps her ahead of Metallica's Black Album. Metallica has about 16.2 million scans co,pared to Twain's 15.6, but Metallica only sold about 200,000 copies through BMG instead of 2 million.

OIDIA sold 1.2 million through Sony BMG as of 2002, thus bringing its total to 10.4 million. And that's not even including Columbia House (which was considerably bigger than Sony BMG) or other music clubs. But I'm sure you know this .

How much is Soundscan subscription a month? We could collectively buy it for a month, gather quickly all data possible including singles and then bye!

At one time it was $100.00/month, but that was a couple of years back. That rate may have increased.

Well, they're included in Destiny's Child/Bey's totals so are you sure about that? You sure have no problem using figures WITH club sales included.
And guess what, the RIAA counts them and they certified Oops 10x Platinum, so it did. Sorry.

Because record companies were selling these records so cheaply to clubs, the riaa wouldn't include these shipments when awarding Gold and Platinum albums. However in 1994 they changed the rules and allowed shipments to record clubs to be included.

RIAA changed the rules to include them (probably pressured by labels) but Soundscan clearly didn't think these 'sales' were worthy of being counted
