I liked Anna Camp in Deirdre's first appearance, but my god she was next-level-amazing in this. Her almost-kiss with Jacqueline was the most exciting/ terrifying of this season's numerous female-characters-almost kissing.
The way she went for it in all of her scenes. That scene of back-and-forth of maniacal laughter and sobbing was a thing of beauty. She is bats**t insane in all the right ways.
I feel like Anna Camp has mostly gotten stuck in a bunch of projects that don't really highlight her potential as an actress (True Blood, Pitch Perfect and its sequels) so I'm glad UKS finally let her shine, and I hope it leads to her getting more attention. She was fantastic.
- Jaqueline rolling herself up in the absurdly expensive rug was utterly hilarious. And then it somehow became even more hilarious when she was unrolled into a perfectly composed listening position.
I know it's fruitless to complain about Jane Krakowski not having won an Emmy, but seriously, HOW has Jane Krakowski not won an Emmy?
-
"Don't answer the phone, it's an ostrich!"
My god Mimi is insane. What a perfect role for Amy Sedaris.
- Mikey is the best. I am both really surprised they brought back a one-off stock character from a silly Tidus B-plot last season and happy that he is fitting into the show so well.
