Yes. As long as they prove themselves to be safe and respectable people, I see nothing wrong with it. They would probably be better parents than many out there today...

It would be awkward as hell !! But you can't change the fact that you are gay... and you can't also change the fact that you want a child !! Should you really be unhappy just because the child might resent not having a mother/father ? A lot of people have been raised without a mother or father. Why is it such a issue at this point ?

I don't think a child would become gay because of his/her parents. If anything it would give the child a greater knowledge of acceptance within society.

Do you mean would the child be confused because their is 2 mums/dads? Well, I don't think this necessarily a problem, because if the child is young enough, then they will adapt. Children are good at accepting change.

I really don't think it matters about the nursing. But going by your theory, can't a gay male couple adopt a son, and a gay female couple adopt a daughter? There is help eberywhere nowadays though, like how to explain things to your children when you really don't know what to say. The parents will cope.

Yes. No "if"s, "but"s, or "maybe"s. There is really no reason why a gay couple shouldn't adopt a child, and if there is a reason, it shouldn't be related to the couple being gay.

There are a lot of main points but the importand one is, is it worth it ? Do you think a gay couple should be allowed to adopt a child ?

I don't think child's upbringing would be negatively affected. Single fathers bring daughters up just as well as mothers can, as there can always be female figures in the daughert's life who can advise her when she starts to get older, and vice versa should it be mother and son.

As for a heterosexual child becoming homosexual... Tough question. My belief is that a lot of what defines your sexuality is your environment. Perhaps growing up in a homosexual environment could influence the child, however, we are making the assumption that the gay couple are stereotypically homosexual, which may not be the case.

most gay couples give a lot of thought to raising a child since they technically cant pop them out every 5 seconds like straight couples. so yes.

Absolutely!..but it does has to be a point about whether the parents would want the child growing up to be a homosexual or heterosexual..if heterosexual then the parents should not keep the child in the posession all the time!..let the child be around a heterosexual that will give them that true father outlook on life and how a man should come out to be if their trying to be heterosexual..but if its a girl then it would be no problem for the gay parents as in raising the child and having them grow up being heterosexual

But wasn't there some kind of issue that most boys that are raised without a man in the house became gay ? I don't know if that is true but most of the gays that I know got raised without their father.

But they will learn different once they start interacting with society. They will see that everyone at the kindergarden has a mommy and a daddy but he/she has two daddy's. Which will be very confusing to the child.

I agree with everything you said accept this. Sexuality is not a trait or a side to a personality. Traits and personality can be defined by our upbringing and the environment around us. But sexuality is something biological that can't be changed. You may tell yourself that you're hetero/homo, but it will always stay the same as it was when you were born.

people are born gay they dont become gay.

You can't become gay simply by hanging around gay people. It's not a learned characteristic

Yeah I don't think it will be a problem for the girl being raised by a gay couple. Since girls love gays a lot. But I know for a fact that the once who do adopt. they adopt girls. Maybe it's because of this reason ? I for one wouldn't want to adopt a boy for the confusing. It can ruin his whole childhood. He would be teased a lot in school !!
