I see a lot of people here stating Joanne underperformed/flopped when it already sold almost 1m ww. How many albums do that nowadays? It did not smash by any means but it did decently and it is still selling.

they are just salty cuz they hoped it would flop like bionic or smth and gaga will be over forever but that obv didnt happen.. but thats not happening anytime soon so to make themselves good they throw the word "flop"... honestly OGHs are like headless chickens rn.... they want to drag gaga like during artpop era but are unable to cuz shes doing fine and performing just as good as other pop girls sales wise (rih ariana etc)

It's doing pretty badly based on all metrics objectively speaking. Her streaming figures are lower than ever despite the fact streaming is only growing. Her lack of hits or high charting songs ain't helping either. Her SPS figures are nothing short of terrible for a pop star of her caliber.

The sales were decent during the first couple of weeks which was/is the only decent performance the release has seen but even those have plummeted since despite the promotional schedule. How long did it spend in the Top 10 on Billboard 200 again? Three weeks?!

As pointed out in the OP, the album will very soon cross 1 million pure sales worldwide and that in today's music climate, without the help of a smash single. That IS very decent and no one can or should claim otherwise.

1. the era is just 3 months old so dont be so quick to judge... the second single is running its course rn... we dont know whats it fate will be
2. yes 811k in 10 weeks is IMPRESSIVE so give credit where its due.. ghosts are not buying those copies the GP is.

Her album sales are decent. It's kinda like an Artpop level success when it comes to that (but at least Artpop had 1 hit + a mini hit to support the album). But it's a huge flop in streaming and hits.
