Lorde has achieved success w/ her singles out the gate whereas Lana struggled a bit in the US market, so the question is will Lorde be bigger than Lana?
I'd wait to see how Pure Heroine performs before making a final judgment call. Right now, she has a much bigger hit than Lana. But Born to Die's 5 million will be hard to top.
It depends. out of the gate she is way bigger than any of Lana's singles were, but remember that in the end BTD was a slow burn everywhere (except for the UK where she was pretty big from the start) and sold 5 million WW.
