It's that time of the year again. At first I didn't think I was going to have enough time to make a chart this year, but I got around to doing it. Unlike last year, I'm only going to be doing my top 50 singles of 2009.

01. Metallica - The Day That Never Comes
50. Kanye West feat. Young Jeezy - Amazing Kanye may be an arrogant asshole, but there is no denying he makes killer music. Anything with him and Jeezy is instant gold.
49. Halestorm - I Get Off A new band that emerged in 2009. It's hard to find good female fronted rock bands and this is one of them.
48. Maylene and the Sons of Disaster - Step Up (I'm On It) Never was a big fan of Maylene until I heard this song. Just a simple rock song with a southern sound to it. I recommend it to everyone.
47. Flyleaf - Again Fyleaf finally returned with a new album in 09 that I felt was a step down from their debut album. It does feature some great songs and this was one of them
46. Chevelle - Jars Chevelle never seem to disappoint and "Jars" continued that. It felt like the same ol' formual Chevelle uses, but why fix what isn't broken.
